Job summary

The Research & Instruction Librarian at Ohrstrom Library serves as the liaison to support faculty, students, and staff with the library’s digital and print holdings. The role leads an innovative instruction program, develops research guides, and promotes the collections to the community.

Evening shifts are required, with library hours until 9:30 pm, and involvement with St. Paul’s Advanced Studies Program in summer.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited library school.
• At least two years’ experience in a library setting, preferably academic or school library.
• Experience in reference, engagement, or instruction.
• Proficiency with Koha, Springshare, and WordPress preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver an innovative instruction program for diverse students.
• Create research guides and instructional resources.
• Provide reference and instruction services, including consultations.
• Promote and incorporate digital collections into curriculum.
• Lead outreach and collaboration with faculty and staff.
