St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, Idaho, seeks a PACU RN for a 1.0 FTE night shift in a busy 31-bed unit that recovers patients after general anesthesia from multiple OR suites.
The role offers a rotating schedule: 7 nights on, 7 nights off (holidays included) with 26 weeks off per year. Requirements include ADN/BSN, active RN license, 1 year PACU RN experience, and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred.

We are a busy, fast paced 31 bed PACU that recoveries patients that have had general anesthesia from the main OR, CVOR, EP lab, cath lab, endoscopy, medical imaging, and interventional radiology. 30% of our patient population is children (infants to adolescents), while the rest is adults. Generally, we staff one nurse to two patients based on acuity and age and are considered a critical care unit.
Members of the innovative night call team have a 1.0 FTE and are scheduled or on-call for 7 nights and then have 7 nights off (including holidays), and are paid 80 hours a pay period. This schedule rotates every pay period. Team members have 26 weeks off each year.
