Job summary

St. Luke’s in Twin Falls, ID is seeking an experienced RN for the PACU on an evening shift (11:30am–midnight), 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period). The unit handles pre-op, PACU, and SDS with cross-training to two subunits and requires 2+ years in PACU/ED/CC, RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred. A $7k sign-on bonus is offered for new hires.

Sign on Bonus offered $7k (new hires only)

Schedule: 0.9 FTE (Full time- 72 hours per pay period) The position is an evening shift schedule from 11:30am to Midnight. Varied days- no set days based on surgery schedule. Some call is required- 30-minute call response time.

What you can expect:

Our unit is composed of some of the best nurses in Southern Idaho. This is a blend unit of perioperative services. The department cares for patients getting ready for and recovering from surgical procedures, it includes pre-op, PACU and SDS. The department requires that you be cross trained to two subunits, critical care experience is preferred to work in the PACU. We prepare and recover patients that require surgical interventions for service lines such as vascular, urology, ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, gym, gastroenterology, and podiatry. We work very hard together to create an exceptional patient experience!

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN)
• Experience: 2+ year RN experience in PACU, ED, or Critical Care is required for this position.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice & BLS. Highly prefer ACLS and PALS
