Responsibilities

Consult with rehabilitation team regarding therapy based on patient age, exertion, understanding, and attention span.
Evaluate patients and establish a plan of care based on impairments identified in the evaluation.
Document treatments and assessments thoroughly.
Promote use of rehabilitation technology devices suited to patient needs and safety.
Provide training on equipment to ensure safe usage in both independent and gym settings.
Supervise students and volunteers and mentor new staff as needed.
