Job summary

Procter & Gamble in Mason, Ohio is seeking an R&D Packaging Research Specialist within Habitat Care to develop packaging solutions, support design, testing, and implementation for new products and packaging-led changes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet consumer needs, accelerate speed to market, manage costs, and ensure sustainability goals while building expertise in packaging tests, materials, and equipment. This is an in-person role at the Mason center.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or higher required.
• Associate’s degree in Packaging Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related technical discipline preferred.
• 4-year degrees in non-engineering disciplines welcome to apply.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative packaging solutions meeting consumer needs and brand values.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept to completion.
• Execute work plans with emphasis on quality, timing, safety and documentation.
• Prepare prototypes, samples, and technical inputs for experiments and decisions.
• Record observations, organize data, and communicate findings to teams.
• Maintain progress against tight timelines with stakeholders.
