Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with appropriate state certification for subject and level assigned.
• Experience with district curriculum and standards is preferred.
• Ability to plan, develop, and assess instructional programs with data-driven approaches.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and provide learning experiences within assigned area.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning for diverse students.
• Guide learning toward district curriculum goals.
• Employ varied instructional techniques and media as appropriate.
• Assess student progress and communicate with parents as needed.
• Identify student needs and seek support as required.
• Coordinate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Develop and implement student behavior plans consistent with policies.
• Maintain accurate records as required by law and policy.
• Protect students, equipment, and facilities; ensure safety.
• Be available to students daily and to parents by appointment.
• Plan and supervise teacher aides and volunteers; provide evaluations.
• Engage in ongoing professional growth and district evaluation processes.
• Participate in campus and district meetings and activities.
