Lake Michigan Academy in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a passionate and innovative Math & Science Middle School teacher to join our collaborative and supportive team, with an average class size of 8 students for the upcoming school year.

Design and deliver engaging science and math curriculum with flexibility for project-based learning; teach small mixed-grade classes; foster hands-on investigations, and join a culture that celebrates ideas and student growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience working with middle and high school-aged students.
• A passion for science & math and a desire to inspire lifelong learners.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Certification is not required at the time of hire, but the successful candidate will be expected to obtain appropriate certification within two years.

Responsibilities
