Qualifications

• A minimum of five (5) years classroom teaching experience.
• Master’s degree or higher required.
• Massachusetts DESE certification as Principal/Assistant Principal.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent deems appropriate.
• REPORTS TO: Principal of Ahern Middle School.
• WORK YEAR: Full-time.
• Master degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructional Leadership and development of strong curricular programs.
• Supervise and evaluate staff; plan and provide professional development.
• Develop and maintain a fiscally responsible budget aligned with district values.
• Promote equity, positive climate, and high expectations for students and staff.
• Lead MTSS and collaboration with Student Services for special education needs.
• Oversee school operations, emergency planning, and master scheduling.
• Engage families and community partners to support student learning.
