Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer to develop sophisticated mechanical designs for test equipment and fixtures, enabling development, qualification and production with high quality and reliability.

You will apply advanced mechanical engineering principles and CAD/analysis tools, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to innovations that improve product functionality and customer satisfaction. Strong emphasis on mentoring and design leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 4 years of mechanical design and development experience with advanced mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles, methodologies and best practices for complex systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software and mechanical analysis/simulation tools.
• Experience with materials selection, manufacturing processes and product testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute advanced mechanical design projects for test equipment and fixtures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and develop innovative solutions.
