Job summary

Milsco Milwaukee is seeking a Mechanical Designer to develop and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies and 2D drawings for off-road seating systems. You will create engineering documentation including GD&T drawings, BOMs and change records, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, sales and project teams.

You will support design reviews, prototype builds, and evaluations, review test results, and ensure designs meet performance, durability, safety and customer

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
  • 2+ years mechanical design/CAD drafting experience preferred; seating/vehicle/off-road experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CREO or similar parametric solid modeling software including assemblies and drawings.
  • Ability to create and interpret drawings with GD&T.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for off-road seating systems and components.
  • Create and update engineering documentation including GD&T drawings, BOMs, specs, and change records.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, sales, and project teams to meet requirements.
  • Support design reviews, prototype builds, and fit/function evaluations for seats and mounting components.
  • Review test results to ensure designs meet performance, durability, safety and customer requirements.
  • Maintain records of designs and revisions in accordance with company procedures.
