Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and university.
• Valid teaching certificate licensing the individual to teach in the specializations and grade levels of the assigned endorsement area.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement WV content standards and high-quality secondary learning objectives.
• Instruct students using effective instructional strategies and provide appropriate learning experiences.
• Develop lesson plans and provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to each student.
• Keep records and prepare progress reports; collaborate with interventionists and share data.
• Analyze data to improve instruction and model strategies to promote student achievement.
• Communicate with parents about student progress and program objectives.
