Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and RHIA or RHIT certification
• Or Master's degree with concentration in Health Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
• Conferred transcripts, licenses, and certifications must be attached to the application
• Criminal background check required
• Dual credit assignments require fingerprinting background check with the Texas Department of Public Safety
• Teaching experience is desired
• In-person on-site duties; remote/telecommuting not permitted
• Ability to teach per approved course descriptions, syllabi, schedules, policies, and core values

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate coursework
• Teach courses according to the schedule of classes and approved course descriptions and syllabi
• Perform teaching assignments at one or more college campuses or off-site locations, including possible evening and weekend programs
• Potentially teach Dual Credit courses
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain standards in accordance with college policies, procedures, and core values
