Job summary

PCI Health Training Center in Richardson, TX is seeking a part-time Faculty Member for Health Care Management (HCM) to deliver current, engaging instruction and support student learning in accordance with ACCSC Standards.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field (master’s preferred), and involves delivering courses, preparing materials, and maintaining records while supporting accreditation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree minimum in Health Care Management, Health Administration, Business, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Academic credentials appropriate to the level of courses taught and the credential for the program of awards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned courses in accordance with approved syllabi, course objectives, and the program outline.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, assessments, and learning activities that promote student achievement of course objectives.
• Evaluate and document student performance fairly and consistently and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grade, and advising records in accordance with institutional policy.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and inclusive learning environment.
• Hold scheduled office hours and provide academic support and advice to students to promote retention and success.
• Participate in faculty in-service training and maintain an individual professional development plan to sustain current knowledge in the field.
• Participate in curriculum review and program assessment activities as requested.
• Support institutional and accreditation activities, including outcomes of data collection.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director or Director of Education.
