Job summary

GenSystems Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Gas Turbine SCR Design Engineer to lead the design and engineering of complete Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems for gas turbine applications. This role drives concept through engineering packaging, delivering complete SCR solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on SCR system design experience, including catalyst selection, reactor design, AIG, flow distribution, and hardware/package design, working with engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience with catalyst selection, reactor design, ammonia injection systems (AIG), and flow distribution.
• Knowledge of U.S. engineering codes and standards applicable to power generation and emissions control.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design complete SCR systems for gas turbine applications.
• Design and integrate catalyst systems.
• Develop reactor, ammonia injection grid (AIG), ductwork, and supporting hardware.
• Produce complete hardware/package designs and engineering packages for fabrication and installation.
• Size and specify major mechanical equipment and system components.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical evaluations.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable U.S. engineering codes, environmental regulations, and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and project teams.
• Support technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate engineering documentation and support PE review/sign-off when required.
