Job summary

Veriipro is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software for hardware-based systems. You will work on OS-level software, device drivers, and embedded applications, analyzing requirements and reading schematics to implement robust solutions.

You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure integrated, high-quality software. Strong debugging, testing, and documentation skills are required for SDLC-driven work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 3+ years of embedded software or firmware development.
• Strong programming in C and/or C++.
• Knowledge of embedded systems architecture and hardware/software integration.
• Experience reading hardware schematics and datasheets.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Basic OS/hardware knowledge.
• Familiar with development tools, debuggers, and version control.
• Experience troubleshooting embedded software and system issues.
• Knowledge of SQL or similar development tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for hardware-based systems.
• Develop OS-level software, device drivers, and embedded apps.
• Analyze requirements and create functional software solutions.
• Read hardware schematics and datasheets for implementation.
• Collaborate across hardware, firmware, and software teams to integrate solutions.

• Participate in all SDLC phases including deployment.
