Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, behavioral sciences or equivalent.
• Experience serving children and/or families in mental health, social services, or education.
• Ability to deliver culturally competent services in multi-cultural settings.
• Energetic, innovative style with ability to engage youth and family members.
• Natural ability to work with others using strengths-based approaches.
• Able to drive to family homes in the community; valid license and insurance.

Responsabilités

• Engage families with compassionate, respectful support.
• Provide crisis response and stabilization services and safety plans.
• Prepare families for next steps in intervention and planning.
• Customize helping approaches to fit the family culture and needs.
• Provide intensive, strength-based mental health services to children, youth and families.
• Conduct treatment planning, safety planning, and family team meetings.
• Collaborate with supervisors and mental health specialists.
• Meet productivity and documentation standards with strength-based notes.
• Respond to crises promptly and effectively.
• Facilitate placement into foster care when needed; complete paperwork.
• Participate in on-call rotation and community/home-based service delivery.
