Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of student teaching and coursework to obtain ISBE teaching certificate.
• Valid teaching license (PEL or ELS) endorsed for this position.
• Knowledge of state certification requirements, classroom and behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Plan instruction with written lesson plans and prepared materials.
• Evaluate pupil progress and maintain accurate records of achievements.
• Communicate with parents about academic progress, attendance and conduct.
• Participate in in-service and professional staff meetings and activities.
• Coordinate class field trips and may engage in after-school activities.
