Qualifications

• Associate degree or bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk Inventor, Pro/ENGINEER.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, system design and drafting processes.
• Experience with GD&T and relevant codes (AASHTO/AREMA/ASTM).
• Excellent CAD drafting and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop precise 2D and 3D CAD models, schematics, and drawings for mechanical systems.
• Use software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks to produce detailed designs.
• Apply GD&T to ensure accurate manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Interpret codes and client requirements to produce compliant designs.
• Collaborate with engineers to refine system designs and resolve challenges.
• Conduct FEA simulations to validate design integrity under loads.
• Prepare technical documentation, assembly instructions, and schematics.
• Support construction teams with drawings and technical guidance.
• Maintain version control and drafting standards throughout projects.
