Job summary

Chattanooga State is seeking Adjunct Faculty in Anatomy & Physiology to teach at the Chattanooga State campus. Under the supervision of the Department Head, adjunct faculty will instruct assigned classes and maintain records of attendance while evaluating student performance and communicating progress to students and college staff.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Biology or related field (or equivalent) and demonstrate teaching experience or proficiency with hybrid/online delivery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Biology or related field (or equivalent).
• Experience with or willingness to teach using hybrid/online instructional modes.
• Commitment to teaching excellence and student success.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned Anatomy & Physiology courses following evidence-based instructional practices.
• Maintain attendance records and evaluate student performance on assignments and exams.
• Communicate progress to students and appropriate college staff; assign midterm and final grades.
• Comply with college policies and participate in assigned mandatory trainings.
