Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking an Analog/Power IC design engineering intern to develop analog mixed-signal ICs for EV, AI data centers, and industrial applications.

You will contribute to block architecture, circuit design, and layout supervision under experienced mentors. The role requires current enrollment in an MSEE or PhD program, familiarity with cadence tools, and strong knowledge of CMOS devices, opamps, regulators, and lab measurement.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an MSEE or PhD in electrical engineering.
• Strong analog circuit design background and schematic capture experience.
• Familiarity with CMOS layout and transistor behavior.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architects, designs and verifies circuits, systems and/or algorithms to meet product requirements.
• Deliver work product in a timely manner to ensure business success.
• Demonstrates good judgment and quantitative analysis in solving design problems.
• Regularly presents design reviews to demonstrate results and obtain feedback.
• Attends design reviews to provide input and learn from other designers’ experiences.
• Research design techniques through review of previous product documentation and trade publications.
• Validates a design meets all the required specifications.
