Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. invites students pursuing EE/CE to join our Power Isolation team as an Applications Engineer Intern. You will gain hands-on experience in power electronics, embedded systems, lab automation, and design verification in a collaborative setting.

Key tasks include creating hardware references, testing fixtures, data automation, and drafting technical documents; you will present results to the team while developing skills in C/Python and PCB design under mentorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergrad or graduate degree in EE or CE or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems (hardware and software).
• Printed circuit board schematic capture and layout experience.
• Experience with high-level embedded programming and scripting languages (C/Python).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for explaining technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Create hardware reference designs and evaluation software demonstrating key product features.
• Design hardware and test fixtures for validation of Power products.
• Automate data collection and analysis to improve test efficiency.
• Draft customer-facing documents including Application Notes and User Guides.
• Present your work to the broader team.
