BASIS Ed Texas is seeking an Algebra 2 & AP Statistics Teacher to join a bright, passionate team. You will prepare and facilitate high-level lessons, apply the BASIS curriculum, and support student learning in a collaborative school community.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in the subject (or 24 credits), and preferably a Master's, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. The role emphasizes interactive instruction, student engagement, and professional teamwork within BASIS Texas

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 24 credit hours in the subject matter.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans
• Provide instruction at a higher level than standard in an interactive setting
• Implement BASIS Curriculum with engaging lessons and assessments
• Collaborate with BASIS Curriculum teachers to develop material
• Tutor students to raise academic and career success
• Manage student behavior to foster achievement and responsibility
• Support non instructional functions such as Early Bird/Late Bird and lunch
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance
• Supervise individual students or groups
