BASIS Ed Texas is seeking a qualified Algebra 2 & AP Statistics Teacher to join our academically driven team. The role focuses on preparing and delivering high-level lessons aligned with BASIS Curriculum and promoting a rigorous learning environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in the subject area with IVP clearance; a Master’s degree is preferred and teaching experience is valued. This on-site position offers a comprehensive benefits package and professional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in subject matter or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject with other degree.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide subject instruction at a higher level than grade-standard in an interactive learning environment.
• Design lessons and assessments to ensure students' education is internationally competitive.
• Collaborate with BASIS Curriculum teachers to develop curriculum material.
• Tutor students in content knowledge and skills to heighten academic trajectory.
• Manage student behavior to foster achievement and responsibility.
• Support non-instructional functions such as Early Bird and lunch.
• Maintain regular attendance and supervise students.
