Seminole State College of Florida is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach assigned courses, develop syllabi, prepare and deliver instruction, design assignments and assessments, and provide timely feedback. You will also engage in professional development and use the CANVAS LMS to communicate with students and colleagues.

Seminole State serves over 22,000 students across five campuses and online, offering 200+ degree and certificate programs, and seamless transfer pathways such as Direct

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in one of the specified fields.
• Or Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in one of the specified fields.
• Demonstrated understanding of the learning-centered approach to teaching with teaching experience and Professional certification.

Responsabilités

• Teach assigned courses and develop syllabi.
• Deliver class/instruction in scheduled modalities and locations.
• Use instructional materials to plan and deliver instruction.
• Develop or modify assignments and assessments to meet course outcomes.
• Grade student work and provide timely feedback.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.
• Validate textbooks, post syllabi, and submit final grades by deadlines.
• Remain current with CANVAS usage as required by guidelines.
• Respond promptly to students, colleagues and supervisors.
• Meet with students to review course work as needed.
• Collaborate with faculty to improve curricula and promote student success.
