Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Architecture, Design, Engineering Technology, Engineering, Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Urban or Community Planning, Technology, GIS or related field.
• Or Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Architecture or Design, Building Construction, CAD, Engineering or Engineering Technology, Land Planning and Development.
• Maintaining faculty credentials as required by accrediting agencies.

Responsibilities

• Developing a course syllabus in the format determined by the College and posting syllabus to the College approved system by deadlines.
• Preparing for and delivering class, studio, clinical, or lab instruction at days, times, modalities and locations determined by the College.
• Using assigned instructional materials to plan and deliver instruction designed to enhance student learning.
• Developing or modifying assignments, assessments and other course materials to support and evaluate student outcomes established in the syllabus and guidelines.
• Grading student work and providing constructive feedback in a timely fashion, including resolution of disputed grades.
• Participating in professional development opportunities offered by the college and department.
• Validating textbooks, posting syllabi and submitting final grades by deadlines.
• Staying current with the College’s CANVAS LMS as required by guidelines.
• Responding promptly to communications from students, colleagues and supervisors.
• Meeting with students individually to review coursework as needed.
