Seminole State College of Florida is seeking adjunct faculty to teach courses and develop syllabi, assessments, and grading criteria. The role emphasizes timely feedback and active student engagement through CANVAS and other modalities.

Responsibilities include collaboration with colleagues on curriculum improvement, professional development, and maintaining open lines of communication with students and supervisors to support student success and academic excellence.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Biology or an equivalent sequence with 18 graduate hours in Anatomy & Physiology, Biochemistry, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Botany, Conservation Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Genetics, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Oceanography, Pharmacology, or Zoology.
• Evidence of ongoing professional credentials as required by the college’s accrediting agencies.
• Demonstrated understanding of learner-centered teaching with teaching experience and professional certification.

Responsabilidades

• Teach assigned courses and develop syllabi, instructional materials and assessments.
• Deliver instruction using CANVAS and in-person modalities as scheduled.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback on student work and grades.
• Engage in professional development and curriculum improvement efforts.
• Maintain communication with students, colleagues and supervisors.
