Job summary

Seminole State College of Florida is seeking adjunct faculty to teach assigned courses, develop syllabi, deliver instruction and assess student learning. Applicants should have multiple qualifications in Fire Science, relevant certifications, and work experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop a course syllabus and post it by deadlines.
• Deliver instruction in assigned modalities and locations.
• Plan and deliver instruction to enhance student learning.
• Create/modify assignments and assessments to meet learning outcomes.
• Grade and provide timely feedback on student work.
• Engage in professional development.
• Maintain course materials and submit final grades by deadlines.
• Stay current with CANVAS usage.
• Respond promptly to communications from students and colleagues.
• Meet with students to review coursework as needed.
• Collaborate with faculty to improve curricula.
