Job summary

Terminix is seeking an Innovation/Utility Specialist in the United States (New York area) to perform pest control inspections, install termite control systems, TAP insulation, and lightweight construction tasks in residential and commercial settings. You’ll work with customers to explain services, ensure satisfaction, and follow safety protocols while handling exclusion traps and wildlife removal.

The role requires physical work around animals, confined spaces, and PPE, with on-site training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties to identify pest activity and provide pest control services for homes and businesses.
• Install and maintain termite control systems and perform TAP insulation installation.
• Assist with light construction projects and minor repairs related to pest damage.
• Explain services to customers and provide guidance on pest control measures.
• Set up exclusion traps and wildlife removal, following safety protocols.
• Stay updated through training on industry trends and technologies.
