Job summary

Trace3 is seeking an Innovation Research Intern to join the Trace3 Innovation Team. You will scout startups, verify data, and support client research requests, learning from researchers and principals.

The internship provides hands-on exposure to private/public cloud, data intelligence, security, and enterprise tech. Ideal candidates are undergraduates or masters students in IT, CS, cybersecurity, business, or related fields, with strong research, writing, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Strong secondary research skills with careful attribution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present findings clearly.
• Academic or internship experience in IT/CT domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Scout emerging vendors across Security, Data, AI, and DevOps.
• Maintain a vendor pipeline with category, summary, funding, and leadership.
• Support client research requests and prepare background notes for workshops.
