We are representing a major global law firm, seeking an Innovation Product Lead to drive strategy and optimization for its core AI platforms. This role operates at the intersection of product management, vendor strategy, and legal tech innovation, owning relationships with key AI providers, shaping product roadmaps, and guiding the firm on feature adoption, risk, and rollout decisions - all in a law firm setting. The ideal candidate brings deep SaaS and AI product lifecycle experience, a strong grasp of AI-enabled tools in enterprise environments, and the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders. This individual will also play a critical role in training strategy, user adoption, and evaluating overlapping technologies to ensure the firm is leveraging the right tools at the right time. Candidates should have strong experience working with legal or professional services teams.
You are a product-focused professional operating at the intersection of product strategy, user experience, and technical operations. You have a proven record of delivering measurable outcomes across the full lifecycle of SaaS or enterprise technology products, from pilot through launch, adoption, optimization, and retirement. You serve as the voice of the user, translating legal professional needs into actionable product requirements while coordinating day-to-day technical operations. You are collaborative, results-driven, and motivated by applying emerging technologies to real business challenges.
As Innovation Product Lead, you will report to the Associate Director and act as the firm’s product owner for an assigned portfolio of innovation tools. Partnering closely with IT, you will jointly drive delivery, stability, and continuous improvement; owning product vision and user experience while IT owns infrastructure and technical execution.
You will lead pilot-to-production transitions, coordinating governance reviews, vendor contracting, and technical implementation. You will ensure production readiness by providing business context for architecture, risk, and security reviews; leading UAT; shaping change management materials; and championing user requirements to drive strong adoption at launch.
You will own day-to-day product health for assigned tools, including vendor management, roadmap planning, budgeting, and contracting in partnership with IT and stakeholders. You will work with IT to triage and resolve issues and coordinate updates to minimize disruption to practice teams.
You will develop training, onboarding workflows, and supporting materials (live demos, guides, FAQs), and own user communications such as release notes and product announcements. You will manage user feedback and enhancement requests through a prioritized backlog and conduct regular product health reviews using adoption, satisfaction, support, and ROI metrics to inform investment decisions.
You will serve as the internal expert on assigned products, maintaining deep knowledge of capabilities and roadmaps while monitoring legal tech and vendor trends. You will contribute to new product pilots, representing practice group requirements and user needs throughout evaluation.
Expected salary for this exempt role is $153,000 - $220,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
