Utah Tech University seeks a Field Operations Manager to install and maintain networked field technology across Utah’s state park system. You will oversee field operations, fulfillment, and hourly staff supporting cameras, kiosks, payment terminals, digital signage, and edge devices.
You will collaborate with Parkspass engineers, coordinate pilots with park managers, and travel statewide to install and support systems. A relevant degree and hands-on field experience are required.
Located within Utah Tech University's Innovation Labs at AtwoodInnovation Plaza, the Parkspass program operates the digitalrecreation infrastructure for Utah's 46 state parks under contractwith the Utah Division of State Parks. Parkspass is seeking a FieldOperations Manager to install, administer, and maintain networkedfield technology systems across the state park system, and tomanage the field operations, fulfillment, and hourly staffsupporting those systems. The position is the primary informationtechnology presence at park sites statewide, spanning camerasystems, self-service kiosks, payment terminals, digital signage,visitor-counting instrumentation, and edge-computing equipment.This position reports to the Director of Parkspass and InnovationLabs, supervises student and hourly employees, and coordinatesdirectly with park managers and staff across Utah's three parkregions.
Full-timeovertime-exempt staff position. Annual salary of $62,000-$65,000depending on qualifications and experience. Desired start date ofSeptember 2026.
