Job summary

Utah Tech University is seeking a coordinator for a thriving campus visit program, coordinating individual and group visits, recruitment events, and the Student Ambassador program to engage prospective students and families. This role reports to Enrollment Marketing and Communications and drives high-quality campus experiences aligned with enrollment goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; three (3) or more years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  • At least two (2) years' related experience preferred; experience in higher education is preferred.
  • High motivation and commitment to the University, including the ability to self-start, stay calm under pressure, meet deadlines, work without supervision, switch-task between priorities, problem-solve, and relate to diverse personalities.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good computer skills, including word processing and data entry.
  • Experience using a CRM platform such as Element451, Slate, Salesforce, or similar system is preferred.
  • Work effectively as part of a team with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional evening and weekend activities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of campus visit experiences and enrollment-related events designed to support recruitment, engagement, and enrollment goals.
  • Oversee the Student Ambassador program, including recruitment, training, scheduling, supervision, professional development, and day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and implement communications, promotional materials, surveys, and follow-up efforts that support campus visits, recruitment events, and Student Ambassador initiatives, in collaboration with the Director of Enrollment Marketing and Communications.
  • Supervise the campus visit Welcome Center and Student Ambassador work areas and oversee golf cart management.
  • Communicate with and compile an Information Packet for visiting students to tailor each visit to the expressed needs of the student whenever possible.
  • Assess the effectiveness of campus visits and events using attendance, participant feedback, engagement, and other KPIs; prepare reports and recommendations.
  • Develop and enhance options for weekly virtual tour visits and event options.
  • Assist in the management, maintenance, and enhancement of the University's virtual campus tour experience.
  • Manage and optimize prospective student engagement platforms, including ZeeMee and similar tools to enhance the campus visit experience and enrollment goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Under the leadership of the Director of Enrollment Marketing andCommunications, this position is responsible for coordinating athriving and innovative campus visit program at Utah TechUniversity. This includes planning all individual and group campusvisits and select recruitment events for the University, such asindividual/group visits, Blazer Blasts, Outreach Open Houses, andother similar enrollment. This position oversees the StudentAmbassador program and serves as a key member of the Enrollmentteam, helping ensure prospective students and their familiesreceive engaging, personalized, and high-quality campus experiencesthat support enrollment goals. The ideal candidate is anenthusiastic, customer-focused, and highly organized professionalwith a passion for Utah Tech University, its programs and services,and student success.


Responsibilities

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Three (3) ormore years of relevant professional experience may be considered inlieu of a bachelor’s degree. Experience in higher education,marketing, event coordination, recruitment, or team supervision ispreferred.

  • At least two (2) years' related experience preferred;experience in higher education is preferred. The totalqualifications required are based on a combination of education andwork experience. Any experience used to meet the educationrequirement cannot also be used to meet the work experiencerequirement.

Supplemental Information

POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Full-timeovertime-exempt staff position. Annual salary of $43,000-$45,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Desired start date of October/November 2026. Excellent benefits package included that begins on start date; includes medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, employee assistance and wellness programs, retirement plan contributions, and undergraduate tuition waivers for employees and eligible dependents, as well as paid holidays in addition to sick and vacation leave accruals.
