Job summary

RFCUNY's College of Staten Island seeks an experienced Director of the CSI Innovation Hub to lead strategic vision, partnerships, and programs.

You will oversee the 4,000 sq ft facility and technology labs, manage a team of staff and interns, and coordinate incubator activities, mentorship, and training to advance entrepreneurship and student success.

This role requires building collaborations with industry, academia, and the community while securing public and private funding to sustain growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 7 years of professional experience including 3 years managing a department.
• Experience in entrepreneurship support, economic development, or incubator management.
• Proven experience supervising multiple full-time employees.
• Experience managing budgets of $500k+ and diverse funding sources.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and execute plans to expand Hub impact on entrepreneurship and workforce development.
• Oversee incubation services, workshops, mentorship, and training programs.
• Lead a team of staff and interns, setting goals and fostering performance.
• Build partnerships with college, industry, schools, nonprofits; secure funding.
• Track outcomes with KPIs and report to leadership and funders.
