Job summary

Colgate University seeks an Assistant Director, Entrepreneurship and Innovation to develop programs giving students hands-on experience building entrepreneurial ventures and professional skills.

Reporting to the director and working on campus at Hamilton, NY, you will support the director and entrepreneur in residence, oversee venture incubation, internships, and related events, and coordinate program communications and assessments.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 1–3 years in project management, event planning, student services, or related fields.
• Ability to work collegially with students, alumni, staff and faculty.

Responsibilities

• Manage key programs and initiatives (venture incubator, summer accelerator, internships).
• Coordinate event logistics and serve as on-site point person.
• Oversee multiple projects with clear communication and delegation.
• Develop assessment strategies linking priorities to goals.
