Job summary

Georgetown University in Washington, DC, seeks an Assistant Director of Experiential Learning in Entrepreneurship within the McDonough School of Business to lead cocurricular programming that helps students develop an entrepreneurial mindset for the common good.

You will oversee experiential learning opportunities, work with student clubs, internships, living-learning communities, and events while coordinating with the Entrepreneurs in Residence and Venture Advisors and other Georgetown

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–3 years events management, budget management, and student programming experience.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Preference for experience managing student interns.
• Analytical and strategic thinking with an eye for best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and with Georgetown colleagues.
• Experience with CRM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight and support of multiple entrepreneurship-related student clubs at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Create and implement programs focused on special interests such as Entrepreneurship and Health, Sustainability, and Venture Capital.
• Develop startup internship programs.
• Manage living-learning communities.
• Organize speaker events.
• Maintain a database of student engagement.
• Provide management support for day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Deliver regular budget updates and financial information to the team.
