Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Innovation Counsel for Patent Counseling and Prosecution in Reston to advance practice initiatives and maximize value from innovation technologies. You will collaborate across teams to drive new tools, processes, and best practices while supporting technology adoption and change management.

The role requires strong presentation skills, fluency with data-driven insights, and the ability to influence multiple stakeholders across a large law firm.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate or non-US equivalent required.
• Active bar membership or in-house counsel status.
• Experience leading cross-functional legal tech projects.

Responsibilities

• Support legal technology adoption initiatives impacting practice groups.
• Design and prepare playbooks for best practices in innovation technologies.
• Organize presentations, status reports, and executive briefings.
• Collaborate with leadership on initiative prioritization and value evangelization.
• Develop objectives, success metrics, and timelines for technology adoption.
• Analyze operational workflows to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
• Drive legal technology pilots, deployments, and continuous improvements.
• Assist change management teams in developing communication campaigns.
• Maintain practice group-specific resources and automate efforts.
