Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Washington, DC seeks an Innovation Attorney to advise lawyers, matter teams, clients, and practice groups on how innovative legal technologies align with workflows to boost value, insights, efficiency and productivity.

You will partner with litigation groups to deploy GenAI and other tools, tailor templates and workflows, and act as a liaison for clients on AI projects while staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent with admission to the relevant state bar.
• Minimum two years of experience as a practicing lawyer or in legal operations; litigation experience required.
• Proficiency with technology, legal technology, and artificial intelligence.
• Experience in strategic legal technology projects preferred.
• Knowledge of litigation matter lifecycle preferred.
• Familiarity with techniques to increase legal tech adoption desirable.
• Experience in business analysis, solution design, or client-facing roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Effective team player in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with litigation practice groups to optimize legal service delivery using GenAI and other technologies.
• Replicate practice group successes by applying learned lessons across teams.
• Configure legal technologies to meet practice group needs, including developing templates and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to enhance technology solutions for clients and practice groups.
• Serve as a liaison for clients on AI projects, ensuring alignment with client guidelines.
• Implement outreach initiatives to increase lawyer engagement with technologies.
• Collaborate on projects with various firm teams and departments.
• Stay informed on legal industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Communicate with vendors to maintain strong relationships and information exchange.
• Protect sensitive and confidential information.
• Align working hours to support global teams and partners.
