Job description

We are currently hiring a part-time Inn-Keeper at Dogfish Inn.

An off-centered craft beer-loving guest services ninja who will assist with all day-to-day Inn operations, helping to create the ultimate Dogfish experience in Coastal Delaware. The guest service ninja will spend time supporting both guest services and housekeeping functions.

What You’ll Brew:

1. Check in/out guests, answer phones, and secure reservations.
2. Have working knowledge of all Inn operational policies and procedures.
3. Execute front desk operations.
4. Support housekeeping initiatives.
5. Follow opening and closing SOPs.
6. Utilize the Frontdesk Anywhere reservations platform.
7. Perform guest experience-enhancing operations.
8. Act as a concierge with deep knowledge of DFH history, beers, company lore, and craft beer.
9. Support housekeeping tasks such as stripping linens, stocking minibar, glassware, paper products, making beds, and conducting final inspections.
10. Sell merchandise in the cottage area using POS system.
11. Rent bikes to guests and perform minor bike maintenance.
12. Oversee coffee service: prepare coffee, weigh, grind, and sell 1lb bags.
13. Manage fire area: start, maintain, and extinguish fires in indoor fireplace and outdoor cauldron.
14. Assist with minor grounds issues like changing light bulbs, watering plants, and HVAC troubleshooting.
15. Spot clean rooms if housekeeper has gone home for the evening.
16. Provide minor support to housekeeping and laundry as needed.

What Ingredients You’ll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience
• Accurately handle cash and post charges
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good computer skills
• Effective communication with guests, public, and coworkers
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule including mornings, weekends, holidays, and potential overnight on-call shifts

Level: 5M

Pay rate if hired: $18 per hour, in accordance with pay transparency laws.
