Job summary

Riverside Regional Jail is seeking an Inmate Activities Coordinator to oversee the facility's recreational program. You will schedule, coordinate, and supervise activities for the inmate population in accordance with policy and procedure.

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation and Physical Education. Prior correctional experience preferred. The pay range is $56,484–$96,683 annually, and hours may include evenings, weekends and holidays. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Virginia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation and Physical Education or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a correctional environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate and supervise recreational activities for inmates.
• Work in accordance with established policy and procedure.
• May require irregular hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Perform other duties as required.
