Job summary

Travis County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Corrections Specialist for Central Booking, TCCC Records and Classification. The role involves managing inmate records, processing classifications, and coordinating releases in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D AND four (4) years of responsible clerical experience, including use of legal terminology.
• OR, Any combination of education and experience that has been achieved and is equivalent to the stated education and experience and required knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this job.

Responsibilities

• Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and shift work.
• Updates inmate records on the computer system and manually maintains all inmate incarceration files.
• Conducts emergency moves and coordinates housing assignments for inmates as required.
• Performs duties related to inmate releases, classification, and documentation.
