GEO Secured Services is hiring for a role that maintains financial records for inmate accounts. You will balance daily activity, verify transactions, and handle cash and deposits to inmate accounts while ensuring accuracy and compliance with policy.

The position requires strong clerical skills, basic accounting knowledge, and proficiency with common software. You will work within a corrections environment, supporting the facility's financial processes and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; accounting coursework preferred.
• Two years of progressive clerical experience with emphasis on fiscal duties.
• Able to work with computers and standard accounting software.
• Strong clerical aptitude and good English grammar and spelling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records for inmate accounts.
• Balance daily account activity and verify transactions.
• Handle cash, money orders, and deposits to inmate accounts.
• Process withdrawals and ensure expenditures stay within limits.
• Collaborate with commissary staff on account credits and recalls.
• Prepare and submit routine reports related to inmate accounts.
