Job summary

OSL Concrete seeks an experienced Master to lead onboard operations on OSV vessels in the United States. You will oversee navigational watchkeeping, safety drills, and emergency response, while ensuring compliance with USCG COI, ISM and ISPS requirements.

The role requires extensive ship handling experience, crew supervision, and a strong safety leadership mindset. Long shifts aboard and routine inspections are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead safety-focused operations onboard vessels.
• Experience coordinating emergency drills and crew training.
• Experience maintaining voyage and safety logs.
• Strong understanding of navigational and shipboard systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan goals and objectives; coordinate audits and inspections.
• Ensure crew understand their roles in emergency response procedures.
• Maintain logs and certifications per USCG COI, ISM, ISPS requirements.
• Oversee navigational watch, pipeline deployment, radio comms, and vessel operations.
• Coordinate onboarding and training, and supervise safety drills.
