Selective Insurance Company of America is seeking an experienced Production Underwriter for the MUSIC segment to work with Wholesale partners and brokers, growing profitable business and underwriting good accounts in challenging classes.

You will develop materials, collaborate with Marketing and Product Development, monitor results, and travel within the territory about 25% of the time; a college degree and 4+ years of experience are preferred.

• Develop training materials for staff and agents.
• Collaborate with Marketing to create effective materials.
• Promote MUSIC products at conferences and meetings.
• Collaborate with Product Development to enhance offerings.
• Monitor results and identify trends to adjust strategies.
• Plan strategic growth by broker/territory.
• Ensure underwriting quality control and audits.
• Travel within territory approximately 25% of time.
