Job summary

Maersk in Charlotte, NC seeks an Inland Execution Leader with 8+ years in Transportation or SCM to drive end-to-end inland operations, stakeholder coordination, and cost optimization. The role manages vendors, promotes inland solutions to grow revenue, and partners with Product and Procurement to deliver cost leadership.

Qualifications

Master’s degree required.
8+ years experience in Transportation or Supply Chain Management.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in a complex cost base.

Ability to influence stakeholders and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

Lead Inland Execution activities per customer requirements and processes.
Implement Inland strategy with Product team.
Identify and implement cost-saving improvements in inland setup.
Coordinate with vendors on intermodal contingencies.
Assist commercial desks in promoting inland solutions to grow revenue.
Drive regional cost leadership with Procurement teams.
Achieve joint cost savings plans for the region.
Manage vendors to ensure service delivery per agreed parameters.
Optimize equipment turnaround with focus on reducing costs and improving efficiency.
Coordinate with Global Shared Service Centre for cost control and consistency.
Develop processes to support future inland operations.
