Job summary

EFI is seeking an Inkjet Applications Engineering Intern for the Ypsilanti, Michigan location through Spring 2027. The intern will join a multidisciplinary engineering team supporting R&D for ink and inkjet printing technologies, gaining hands-on experience in jetting experiments and performance analysis.

You will assist in lab experiments, help design test stands and documentation, and collaborate with ink formulators and engineers to learn about ink and printhead optimization in a fast-paced

Responsibilities

• Assist in hands-on laboratory experiments to evaluate new inks, printheads, and system configurations.
• Support the generation of technical reports and documentation summarizing test results and findings.
• Collaborate with R&D teams, ink formulators, and engineers to learn about ink and printhead performance optimization.
• Help design, develop, and maintain test stands, ink delivery systems, and support equipment used in experiments.
• Gain exposure to a fast-paced R&D environment supporting inkjet ink development.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to ongoing projects.
