Job summary

Impact Connects is seeking an Inkjet Operator I for the Lettershop Production team. This entry‑level role operates inkjet machines and assists in set‑ups, with hours from 3:30 PM to 12 AM, Monday through Friday.

You will read job instructions, verify stock and data, set up the Inkjet system with guidance, and ensure quality and timely output. 1–2 years in direct mailing is helpful; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in direct mailing operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort and containerize all classes of mail.
• Read and understand job instructions.
• Check stock before setup to match piece description.
• Download correct data file for the job.
• Set up transport base for proper material handling.
• Set up Inkjet system for quality addressing with supervision.
• Adjust address block to meet job specs and postal regulations.
• Use postal templates and QA tools to verify label placement and barcode.
• Ensure quality and quantity of each job.
• Report production issues to supervisor or Inkjet Lead.
• Learn to clean inkjet heads for optimum print quality.
• Maintain production standards during the run.
• Make computer and mechanical adjustments with supervision.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.
