Job summary

Impactconnects is seeking an Inkjet Operator I in Minneapolis, MN. This entry-level, hourly position supports the Lettershop Production line, performing inkjet addressing and related setup tasks under supervision.

Strong attention to detail and basic math are essential for accurate data handling and quality output. You will engage in stock checks, data file downloads, and system adjustments while maintaining safety and production standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience in direct mailing operations.

Responsibilities

• Sort and containerize all classes of mail.
• Read and understand job instructions.
• Check stock before setup matches piece description.
• Download correct data file for the job.
• Set up transport base for material handling.
• Set up inkjet system with guidance from a level two/three operator.
• Adjust address block to meet job specs and postal regulations.
• Use Postal templates and QA tools to check label placement and barcode.
• Ensure quality and quantity of each assigned job.
• Report production issues to shift supervisor or Inkjet Lead.
• Learn to clean heads for optimum print quality with help.
• Maintain production standards throughout the run.
• Make computer and mechanical adjustments with operator help.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
