Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation in Menasha, WI is seeking a color matching and small batch blending support on-site at customer locations under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include producing and quality checking inks, providing press-side color toning support, maintaining detailed production and QC records, identifying basic rework opportunities, and upholding housekeeping and safe operations. Must be able to lift up to 50 lb and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years industry experience.
• Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook; as well as dispensing and color match software.
• This is a customer-facing position that requires a high degree of interpersonal skill.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. buckets; and move 500 lb. drums following operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Produce and quality control inks to ensure inks meet or exceed the customer’s specifications.
• Provide some press side technical support, mainly color toning.
• Maintain detailed production and QC records.
• Identify a basic level of rework opportunities based on review of batch tickets.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe operations
