Job summary

Belmark in Wisconsin is seeking a Production Support for the Pressure Sensitive division on second shift to assist ink techs and press operators. You will mix inks, match colors to standards, mount plates, and keep plates and wash areas clean while ensuring downtime is minimized.

This on-site role blends responsibilities from two positions and requires attention to safety, quality, and teamwork. A pre-employment drug test and background check apply; 2nd shift runs 2:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Two years of high school or equivalent.
• Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written instructions.
• Basic math including decimals and fractions.
• Ability to operate a computer.
• Physical ability to stand/walk 90% of the time and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and uphold Safe Quality Foods requirements.
• Mix ink using formulas and match color standards.
• Supply ink and varnish to press via Ink Queue System.
• Proof inks to target using hand proofer and color measurement tools.
• Adjust press colors to match set standards.
• Mount plates on schedule to keep presses running.
• Maintain clean plate wash and mounting areas.
