Job summary

Sun Chemical in Minnesota is seeking a production associate to operate PLC-driven HMI equipment and produce high quality ink via batch tickets. You will learn all processes and equipment to ensure on-time delivery while following safety protocols.

The role requires 1+ year in manufacturing, ability to lift 55 lbs, and familiarity with mixing, measuring and weighing. Shift is 2nd, 10:00am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday, with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with quality control and safety procedures.
• Capable of repeatedly lifting 55 lbs and standing long periods.
• 1+ years in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with mixing, measuring and/or weighting.

Responsibilities

• Review batch tickets and follow instructions precisely.
• Provide samples to lab as needed.
• Pack product into designated containers and label them.
• Operate PLC-driven HMI equipment to produce ink via batch tickets.
• Perform equipment cleaning, plant cleaning and waste disposal.
